ABOUT  Chef Marc

  Marc Lejeune is a South Florida-based professional food stylist and chef. Since establishing his fascination with food growing up in the Southwest of France, he has built a 30 year career in the culinary arts. The son of an artist and an engineer, he specializes in creating beautiful food that appeals to all of our senses, but with a high level of strategic thinking and detail orientation.   

 

  Professionally, Marc has worked across multiple facets of the food and beverage industry, building a skill set that is perfectly-suited to the world of food styling. He began as a chef in the French Navy, and worked in restaurant kitchens across France. He then moved to the US to develop his skills as an executive chef, opening and working in a variety of upscale restaurants and hotels.  

 

  After years in the kitchen, he transitioned to the world of corporate food and beverage, working as a Corporate Executive Chef and a Food and Beverage Director. With these experiences, he honed his skills as a marketer - working closely with branding and photography, and travelling cross-country to develop a detailed understanding of clients’ needs. He has both been a client and serviced clients, making him particularly skilled in balancing a variety of needs in a timely manner.  

 

  Marc established LMDIR Food in 2007, and has since worked on video and still shoots for menus, TV shows, websites, and other branded materials. He also specializes in recipe development and creative product utilization.

 

  Marc brings a strategic mind-set and strong creative vision, but is also happy to follow your vision to the letter. Food styling is a dream career and passion for Marc – a way to bring together his artistic side, problem solving skills, and lifelong obsession with food.
